“Where Colors Dream Again” was a painting created after a long conversation with this beautiful model, a symphony of longing, memories and rebirth. The inspiration? To start life in a new world, longing for that new dawn, a time when colors, like dreams, could bloom freely. This became my poem on canvas, a portrait of a woman on the cusp of something beautiful, a reminder that even in the darkness, colors dream of dancing again. Oil paints, vibrant and alive, became my collaborators. Soft, muted tones – the browns of contemplation, the gentle pinks of hope – bathe the canvas in an atmosphere of quiet introspection. Yet, whispers of color peek through – the green hues of a burgeoning future – hinting at the potential for transformation. The delicate light entering through one of the windows of my studio plays a fundamental role. The transparent white organza fabric that covers her further emphasizes the dreamlike character of the scene, a barrier between the present and the possibilities that lie ahead.
